Waverly Peterson

Waverly is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Waverly received her graduate degree in Social Work from Texas State University and her undergraduate degree in Social Welfare from the University of Kansas.
Waverly has experience working with teens in an outpatient group setting. She has worked with teenagers struggling with suicidality, self-harm, and many other symptoms of depression, anxiety and personality or mood disorders.
Waverly’s approach is psychodynamic and emotions-focused. Waverly includes processing, interactive feedback, and supportive feedback. Waverly understands the importance of meeting the client where they are at mentally and emotionally. In a positive and caring environment, Waverly will not only listen, but provide you with helpful skills to overcome the struggles. Waverly’s goal is to provide an environment of compassion and support to help individuals learn and thrive. Waverly wants her clients to enjoy engaging in therapy and feel empowered afterward.
